Jason KronkJason Kronk

Bachelor Exercise Science, Diploma Remedial Massage, CERT IV Training & Education, (currently undertaking Bachelor of Clinical Sciences - Osteopathic Studies), Myofascial Dry Needling

Jason Kronk has over 15 years experience in the field of health and exercise science. He holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science, Diploma of Remedial Massage, Certificate IV Training and Education and qualifications in Kinesiotaping and Myofascial Dry Needling, as well as holding a current Blue Card. He taught as a senior trainer for 5 years for the Diploma of Remedial Massage at Massage Schools of Queensland and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Clinical Science in Osteopathic Studies to eventually become a qualified Osteopath.

Jason's work with numerous professional sporting teams and individual elite athletes has provided a continuation for development and confidence in the field of remedial massage. With an extensive background in physiology and biomechanics, Jason has a keen interest in specific dysfunction for acute or chronic conditions, with a particular interest in athletes from triathlon.

Lara BullenLara Bullen

Diploma Remedial Massage

Lara Bullen is a remedial massage professional who utilises elements of both Eastern and Western philosophy. Over the years Lara has assisted people from all walks of life in recovery, pain and injury management and prevention. Having worked with athletes, expecting mothers, people in the workplace and children through to the elderly, Lara has the experience to be able to draw on the most relevant techniques for each individual. Lara is also certified in myofascial release and the practice of traditional and modern cupping. Cupping is a comfortable and highly effective therapy used in conjunction with or independent of massage. When an individual initiates steps toward nurturing their body, Lara takes great pride in having the privilege to support that process.


Maree ArmitageMaree Armitage

Diploma Remedial Massage, CERT IV Training & Education

Maree Armitage is an experienced and versatile remedial massage therapist who has been in practice on the Gold Coast since 2003. Her first love is remedial massage, designing and implementing personalised treatments, working towards an outcome for a variety of soft tissue dysfunction. Over the years, Maree has continued her training and has a great interest in all facets of massage and body work. Her extra training includes Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Massage, Aroma-TOUCH, Myofascial Cupping, Hot Stones, Level 1 Oncology Massage, and Kinesiotaping (Rocktape)

Maree is a certified Paediatric Massage Therapist and Blue Card holder which enables her to treat children under the age of 18. As a mother she understands the importance of massage in children, to help with a variety of physical and emotional issues in rapidly changing bodies.

With Maree's experience and training, she is able to tailor a massage for your immediate issues. Remedial massage does not have to mean just deep tissue massage. It is important to look at the person on the day and implement a treatment that will suit your desired outcomes. What you feel in the body does not always originate from what you have been doing physically; your emotions too will present "dis-ease". She takes a holistic approach to her treatments, taking the time to discuss options for your treatment the priority being you and your health concerns and working towards a solution.

Corina TimminsCorina Timmins

Diploma Remedial Massage

Working alongside Burleigh Bears Rugby Club, Gold Coast Titans, Gold Coast Suns, Rugby 7's Tongan Team plus voluntary work for Muscular Dystrophy's Tour Duchenne has enabled Corina to broaden her range of remedial massage therapy techniques to incorporate specialist modalities, such as cupping, hot stone therapy, moblisations to cater to her clients needs and wants.

She passionately believes that education is key to healing all injuries, both new and old, and will effectively analyse to provide a treatment plan that is individualised to each situation and client.

Madeline TurnerMadaline Turner

Diploma Remedial Massage, Myofascial Dry Needling

Maddy graduated from Q Academy with a Diploma of Remedial Massage and entered the profession with an accomplished understanding of muscle and joint dysfunctions. Equipped with a wide variety of soft tissue techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques and cupping, Maddy has a thorough understanding of her clients' needs, tailored to individual treatments, helping them to attain optimal health and a positive philosophy.

Maddy enjoys treating 'Upper Cross Syndrome' - a condition commonly seen in office workers associated with repetitive postural behavior and headaches, she aims to reduce pain and muscle tightness while increasing joint mobility and flexibility. Furthermore, Maddy incorporates client education and self-care techniques to compliment her treatments.

This year Maddy has furthered her qualifications with Myofascial Dry Needling, an effective treatment designed to target myofascial dysfunction and muscle pain.

Currently, Maddy works as a corporate massage therapist and is part of the Q Academy team as a Career Specialist. Her dedication to the profession illustrates her enthusiasm and her progressive knowledge in an emerging industry.

Leanne MarrLeanne Marr

Diploma Remedial Massage, CERT IV Training & Education

Leanne Marr has been providing remedial & relaxation massage since 2005. Her experience has been gained within osteopathy & chiropractic clinics along with on-site corporate massage. Qualifications in NZ & Australia: Certificate in Relaxation Massage. Diploma in Remedial Massage. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Leanne is passionate about helping people out of pain, she understands how pain limits our daily functions therefore adding more stress to the situation.

Leanne listens carefully to clients, provides a skillful & intuitive massage treatment so you can have positive results. Her specialty is neck & scalp massage.


Daniel CovillDaniel Covill

Diploma Remedial Massage

Daniel graduated from Q Academy with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Daniel is a very passionate remedial massage therapist and has gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of remedial treatments, including joint mobilisations, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and PNF stretches.

He is an avid triathlete and his passion is treating other like minded athletes from all different sports to help them avoid soft tissue dysfunction and maintain normal joint range of motion.

Daniel has previous experience as a Personal Trainer including Level 1 Strength and Conditioning. He believes that every new client should have a thorough assessment so he can deliver the right treatment plan for that individual. He listens to the client to make sure the clients goal for the treatment is achieved and that they leave happy and satisfied. He is very excited to be joining the KRONK team.


Lucy Crawford

Diploma Remedial Massage

Lucy is a certified Remedial Therapist with 7 years of experience in the fitness industry. Her goal in life is too pursue a healthy lifestyle, including mental and physical health. She is willing to share her knowledge and help her clients work through any issues they may have.

Lucy has worked along side an osteopath for the past 2 years where she has gained experience working with a wide range of clients from elite athletes to the elderly. She is known for her strength as well as being thorough and understands the importance of treating everyone as an individual. She believes self care is as important as the time in the treatment room.



Ty TaylorDr Ty Taylor

Bachelor Clinical Sciences, Masters of Osteopathic Medicine

Ty has been a practicing Osteopath since 2012 and has a passion for health and promoting quality of life. His experience comes from treating a wide variety of people including office workers, retirees, students, athletes and people just wanting to keep active and pain free.

Ty takes a classical and structural approach to Osteopathic treatment but also utilises exercise prescription to maximise results. He enjoys taking time to understand why and how your body is the way it is and how the holistic principles of osteopathy can help you. Ty has learnt from some of the best in the profession, having spent time with many different practitioners around Australia. He has been exposed to a vast number of treatment approaches from many practitioners, which he draws upon to address the specific needs of his patients. From his experience in pain management Ty enjoys working with people that have been unsuccessful with other treatment modalities.

Away from Osteopathy, Ty is a keen surfer, has travelled extensively and enjoys the great outdoors. He's passionate about cooking nutritious food and values spending quality time with family and friends.


Elissa Van BodegravenElissa Van Bodegraven

Reformer and floor Pilates

Since 2004, Elissa has been working as a remedial massage therapist treating a range of clientele from elite athletes to first time athletes and from the overworked to retirees. In this time she has dealt with a variety of injuries and complaints and has treated them using various massage techniques. In recent years she has decided to bring clinical Pilates into the repertoire for treating clients. She has seen first hand how beneficial it is to injury management and prevention and now wants to pass that on to her clients.

Elissa holds a Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy from the Pilates Institute of Queensland. The course involved training on all different types of Pilates equipment with probably the most popular piece, the reformer, being the one which is now available at KRONK remedial therapies. The reformer is a movable carriage that you lay or stand on with springs for resistance, which allows your program to be specifically tailored to your individual needs.

With 13 years in the industry and over 80 hours of training done at the PIQ she is experienced at figuring out what your body needs to assist with your injury recovery or general well being.
